ODS Proudly Sponsors The University of Nevada Las Vegas’ 16th Annual Hall Of Fame Event
Each year, UNLV recognizes distinguished individuals and organizations that have made a profound impact on the arts in Las Vegas. Now, in its 16th year, the UNLV Hall Of Fame event took place at the campus’ Student Union Ballroom with a cocktail reception and awards dinner to follow. ODS Chauffeured Transportation was proud to be a returning sponsor for this elegant evening by donating transportation services to various honorees.
About The Event
The Hall of Fame was founded in 2003 to honor past and present residents of Southern Nevada who have made a significant impact in the areas of visual arts, performing arts, and/or architecture. Past inductees include Tony Curtis; Phyllis McGuire; Robert Goulet; The Killers; Wayne Newton; Liberace; Clint Holmes; architects Tony Marnell, John Klai, Tom Schoeman, and William Snyder; Penn & Teller; and Siegfried & Roy, among others. Inductees for the 2019 year included Carolyn Goodman, Oscar Goodman, Ronald Husband and Frankie Moreno. Notable attendees included magician Lance Burton, Ms. Las Vegas Arianna Bustos as well as local fine art photographer Mario Basner.
Why The Hall Of Fame?
ODS Chauffeured Transportation is constantly looking for charitable partnerships due to our deep roots with our Las Vegas Community. As a returning sponsor for this event, ODS believes in the mission of UNLV’s Hall Of Fame by recognizing those that make Las Vegas such a unique destination in regards to the arts and entertainment. Not only that, but proceeds of the ticket sales from this noteworthy evening will benefit hundreds of UNLV Fine Arts students in their quest to making their impact on the arts and culture of our local community. ODS was proud to donate luxury transportation to honorees that evening in conjunction with supporting local students.
Not only is ODS a supporter of the arts in Las Vegas, but we are also supporters of the hospitality school through our event sponsorships of events including the grand opening of their new UNLV Harrah College of Hospitality, as well as their annual UNLVino event that raises money for scholarships for hospitality students.
